Southern bank sees value in neurosurgery project
Donations to the southern neurosurgery campaign can now be made through the SBS Bank.
The bank has also committed to giving $10,000 a year for the next three years to the campaign's endowment fund this week.
SBS Dunedin branch manager Matt Isbister said the bank was on board because of immediate health benefits to the community and because it would bring students from around the world to the south to study with leading neurosurgeons.
"It is obvious to see the support that this cause has been getting from the Otago and Southland public. I think this is due to the benefits of keeping such a facility in this part of the country."
Donations can be made at any SBS Bank in the south and in any ANZ or National bank branch in the south.
Donations can also be made by mail: Freepost 2064, Neurosurgery Campaign, PO Box 914, Dunedin, 9054. Funds can be donated via internet banking: Neurosurgery campaign 06 0287 0133301 05
